To have a healthy mouth with a radiant smile of white teeth, care begins before the first tooth from the gum of the newborn. Parents play a key role in the development of good dental health of your child. Visits with the doctor are important.
The regular visits to a dental professional , getting enough fluoride and eating right are the steps that lead to good dental health. Follow these recommendations and to teach children may allow the child to have healthy teeth and a healthy smile.
When are the teeth?
Teeth begin forming under the gums before the child is born. During pregnancy, the mother can help a good dental health of your child by following the doctor’s advice and eating a balanced way. Child’s first teeth come out around 5-6 months old, but this is variable. Other children do not get teeth until they are 1 year old.
When they start getting teeth, gums, the child becomes swollen and inflamed right above where you will receive the first tooth. This causes discomfort to the child, which can be alleviated by “biting” or pacifier to chew or suck the better only if you have gotten into the refrigerator, because cold reduces further delay. Recommend less fluoride in drinking water
Federal authorities decided to break with a tradition of decades indicating that fluoride only mean good things for your teeth and cut the recommended amount in drinking water because, they say, too much of that substance was harming children’s teeth.
Fluoride or fluoride is a mineral found in salt form in the teeth, bones and cartilage. Throughout life, prevents the development of caries . But apparently, in young children too much fluoride can create a condition called fluorosis, which is presented with white spots, at first, hardly noticeable, but then can be transformed into yellowish to brown spots.
